This end credits concept is based off of Frank Herbert’s novel Dune, which was turned into a cinematic masterpiece by Denis Villeneuve in October of 2021. This concept was rooted in the idea of simplifying the absolutely stunning cinematography from Villeneuve’s film and emphasizing the subject of each shot using solid shapes and colors with a splash of light. This concept included hand-painted illustrations of not only the pivotal scenes in the movie, but of the cast and their respective characters as well. The final concept included twenty-three shots in total with nine scenic shots and thirteen cast shots.
